hi mate? i just bought this system but some reason my sub amp lights hardly come on i have the sub volume all the way on max and i have to turn it way up b4 anything flashes..anything i might have to do?

@jasonmyers2011 Hey Mate , i had the same issue when i first set it up , the cable that runs from the Sub unit to the? main head unit wasnt pushed all the way in , its 1 cable that connects the 2 units together . once i pushed it in untill it clicked everything was fine . hope this helps

hey mate? cheers for the reply.yeh i made sure all the cables are plugged in nice and tight its like the volume has to be up over at least 35 till u see the lights glow which is pretty annoying im watching my movies thu my ps3 with an optical cable and hdmi and im running SAT and PLIX MS on the amp

@jasonmyers2011 Hey mate yeah look only thing i can suggest is what i did at the start was pull the fucker apart and re connect it . i bought 2 weeks before moving house but set it up anyway and then when i moved it didnt sount right and the sub wouldnt light up so i pulled every wire out and re did it , i have never used the optical fibre so i cant comment on that , ive got Foxtel -PS3 and Apple Tv running? through mine and it works fine with the HDMI cable but dunno about optical fibre

hey ive done some manual reading and i made adjustmenst to the speakers and sub volumes they were on 0 so i put all them all on +10 on the amp settings now everything shakes and i dont? need to put it above 30 woohoo i noticed in some videos people use their PS3 through it and on the amp it says playstation..do u have any idears how u could change the display name on the amp instead of SAT change it to Playstaion???

I wander if this would work off a simple Sony BDPS-370, Search that up on Sony and tell me what? you think, it’s just that a high-end compatible HDMI system like that shouldn’t just work with a $100 BD Player that’s really excellent.

I would say go for the Sony HTDDW8600 though, It’s only $250? more.
